When you can, use your well developed and written resume as a follow up tool, not as the first item you present. Present yourself as the product, not your resume. It should be utilized at the close of any great conversation, without regard to how short it may have been. Use it to remind readers of your main strengths, and provide details that they are curious about. You won’t fall prey to the “send me your paper, and I’ll think about meeting with you” approach. The potential employer, or the person who is looking for the job, is not benefited by prescreening with the resume method. Have some discussions with people. Research the company thoroughly. Promote your skills and assets. Make it happen for yourself!

Jacob, thanks for the stumble. Will take a look at the links provided. Btw, what do you use for tracking? i.e. how did you know I posted your link. I use Woopra. Cheers!

I discovered your link because it showed up under 'Latest Activity' on the WordPress dashboard, which is now based on a Google Blogsearch.
For tracking, I use Google Analytics, CrazyEgg, Reinvigorate and FeedBurner on the site. On the server I also use the Search Meter and GoCodes plugins.
I have a Woopra account but haven't put the code on my site yet.

Resume Examples
Nice Post! One step I would suggest before creating your resume is to understand that you must differentiate your self from the pack. This can be done in countless ways but be sure to use the most effective methods. Take a step back and look at what you’ve accomplished and/or been apart of within your professional career. How many team projects have you worked on under pressure? How many times have you successfully pitched a new idea to a boss, colleague or team member? How many times have you done more than what is expected from you within your career? Can you display your previous job or career success with numbers? Have you ever been recognized company wide for something you've accomplished or been apart of?

You will need to construct a résumé at some point in your life, whether applying for an internship or a full-time job. A
well-designed résumé will help you:
* Initiate contact with a potential employer.
* Communicate your relevant qualifications and strengths.
* Provide information to personal and professional contacts who will write letters of recommendation or make phone
calls on your behalf.
* Demonstrate your ability to write well, pay attention to detail, and present information in an organized and concise
manner.
Thanks
